Comedian Jackie Mason is suing Jews for Jesus because the group featured his likeness in a pamphlet used to disseminate its religious dogma. Jackie affirms that he has "the utmost respect for people who practice the Christian faith," but he takes umbrage at the sect's brazen appropriation of his "shtick" to proselytize its ideology. A Jews for Jesus spokeswoman maintains that the pamphlet is "good-natured" and believes that Jackie should be admonished for "getting so upset about this."
